About us

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

Bana Ba Thari (BBT) is a women led Non Profit Organization founded by Kate Mocheki and Tintswalo Modiba. The organization was established in response to persistent gaps in access to health and social services affecting women, girls, and vulnerable communities in rural South Africa.

Since our registration in 2019, we have focused on delivering community based interventions that are practical, culturally relevant, and impact driven.
